Renegade Hoof Boot showing proper heel captivator position
There are a series of photos showing correct heel captivator position. In addition there are photos showing improper captivator position. If you are having trouble with boot retention (i.e., keeping your boots on!) then this could be part of the problem. If the captivator is not placed in the proper position your horses hoof may not stay in the boot!
