It took one exchange but the final resulting pair of purple Vipers were perfect. I don’t have a pic of the thick black mud we find in the Adirondacks, but the boots stayed on thru all of our muddy, rocky, root-y terrain!

I have had these for a couple months now. Rode through mud, rocks, thick dirt, and water. Walked, trot, and loped in them.. went up and down hills.. even jumped a creek in them..walked in ponds and they’ve have been nothing short of AMAZING! I didn’t want to keep my girl in shoes just for light trail riding and these have been a god sent. Shoes no longer needed and these work amazing for the trail riding I do! Oh, and my girl is very very tender footed.. 😉

I love my new purple Viper boots! I got them for my 5 year old that is getting started as purple is going to be his color. The photo fitting option at Renegade resulted in a perfect fit for my mare. We started out with front boots only, and after the first ride, decided to get hinds as well. They fit great on my older Tennessee Walker. They did not twist as prior ones did many years ago. He has ringbone high on his right front ,I put some pads in the boots and it made him very comfortable. The purple with the beautiful colored straps looked wonderful on my chestnut boy.

The boots fit perfectly. They go on quickly and stay tight to the hoof. My horse has great feet but the arena sand can wear them down. When we hack out around the property I notice that she is more sure footed on the gravel roads which helps with anxiety.
We had a scary incident where she spooked and her rear swung off the road, and we were sliding backwards down a steep bank. She had enough traction to dig in her front feet and scramble our way back onto the road. Im not sure barefoot hooves could have gotten purchase on the dirt as well.
Im a huge fan of these boots and have recommended them to anyone who asks what she is wearing.
Now if only they allowed them in competition!

Have only tried them twice due to time constraints and then a minor injury to the fetlock region - but love the ease of fitting the boots. The boots are easy to put on and stay on. My horse seems to find them comfortable. My only word of caution is to try to avoid cheet grass. It was very difficult to get out of the velcro straps.

In welchen Größen sind die einzelnen Hufschuhmodelle erhältlich?
VIPER HUFSCHUHGRÖSSEN
Bei der Größenbestimmung für Viper-Hufschuhe sollten Sie einen Freiraum von mindestens 5 mm (und maximal 10 mm) zwischen der Hufmessung und der Schuhmessung einplanen, um Abweichungen während des Beschneidungszyklus zu berücksichtigen.

CLASSIC HUFSCHUH- & KLEBEHUFSCHUHGRÖSSEN

Braucht mein Pferd Vipers oder klassische Hufschuhe?
Ja. Klicken Sie einfach oben auf die gewünschten Optionen und legen Sie sie in Ihren Warenkorb. Geben Sie unbedingt alle Informationen in den Warenkorbnotizen an. Wenn Sie beispielsweise 4 Stiefel kaufen, aber nur bei zweien die Fersenhalter austauschen oder nur an den vorderen Stiefeln Stollen anbringen möchten, geben Sie bitte ausreichend Details an, damit wir die Anpassungen an den richtigen Stiefeln vornehmen können!
Was ist, wenn ich mehr als einen Stiefel kaufen möchte?
Passen Sie einfach die Menge für jede gewünschte Größe/Modell des Stiefels an. Bitte teilen Sie uns im Anmerkungsfeld beim Bezahlvorgang mit, auf welchen Huf die Stiefel passen, damit wir den Klettverschluss für jeden Huf richtig anbringen können.
Beim Kauf eines Paars oder 4er-Sets gehen wir davon aus, dass diese für links und rechts gedacht sind und bringen den Klettverschluss als Paar bzw. Set an.
Wie lange halten Renegade-Hufschuhe?
Die Laufleistung hängt vom Gelände, der Geschwindigkeit und der Art und Weise ab, wie sich das Pferd bewegt. Im Durchschnitt kann man mit dem Classic-Modell 500-600 Meilen und mit den Vipers 600-800 Meilen rechnen.
Auf rauem Gelände oder bei Pferden, die mit den Zehen nachschleifen, halten die Hufschuhe wahrscheinlich weniger Kilometer.
