Replacement pulley button (sold individually) for Renegade® – Classic and Renegade® – Viper® strap-style hoof boots.
This part retains the cable within the Heel Captivator. One complete part per quantity, which includes an inner half, outer half, and one stainless steel screw. Two complete parts are required for each hoof boot, four per pair.
Note: For the Renegade Viper®, there were two types of pulley buttons produced: generation 1 and generation 2. ALL CURRENT VIPER SIZES/CAPTIVATOR SIZES USE GENERATION 2 PULLEY BUTTONS. Older ‘B’ captivators (pre-2017) may need generation 1 pulleys — contact us or email us a photo of the pulley button slot on your boot if you are not sure. Contact us if you need generation 1 Viper pulley buttons.
You can determine exactly which generation Viper® pulley you need by measuring the hole diameter in the captivator. A 7/16″ (almost a half inch) hole uses generation 1 and 9/32″ (a little more than a quarter inch) receives generation 2.
