**The American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC) Decade Team recognition is a prestigious honor celebrating the enduring partnership and commitment of both horse and rider in the sport of endurance riding. To achieve Decade Team status, equine and rider teams must demonstrate consistent participation and resilience by completing at least one endurance ride of 50 miles or more in each of 10 different years. These years do not have to be consecutive, showcasing a long-term dedication to the sport. Furthermore, the rider must maintain an AERC membership throughout all 10 years. This accolade highlights the longevity, stamina, and consistent horsemanship required to excel in endurance riding over an extended period.
