The boots look good and I like the color, but they don’t fit super great. It seemed snug when I put it on, but after each trail ride, I find a TON of small rocks inside the boots so apparently it’s big. He does not like to wear them which sucks, even after dozens of rides

Looking at your photo, the left hind boot isn't positioned quite right, which is likely letting debris inside—a quick adjustment usually makes a world of difference!
We'd love to help you troubleshoot. Please email support@renegadehoofboots.com with ground-level photos of the boots on your horse from the front, side, and back, as well as a shot with the heel cap pulled down showing how the heel sits in the back of the boot. We’ll get this dialed in for you!

Great communication from the beginning; answering questions before I ordered and quick turnaround on the sizing. My horse doesn’t even know she has the boots on, and we have had so much fun on the trails and in the puddles! I do recommend Renegade Hoof Boots!

The glow-effect has been secondary, the color was just too great ! But actually it‘s pretty cool they DO have this effect!
I also have stirrups with lights in case we get home a Little to late…But these boots will make neighbours turn their heads 😍
The Boots fit because of measuring and sending pictures to the company. I ordered them from Germany and prefered the Service to get some support and advice! With the option of returning them, in case the DON‘T fit. But they do perfectly!
I never lost a boot and my horse immediately walked very confident wearing them ! I love them!

Those straps are really special! I wouldn‘t get them in Germany, so I hope, they‘ll last for a long time! It was absolutely worth it, to pay extra to get them instead of just black ones. I truly love the combination with the color of my Boots! Together it is pure summer vibe!
I already have boots in „copper“ and still like this color, but it’s fun to get special designs and colors! If all These variations were easily available in Germany, I‘d shop quite more often…I love them!

As you start using your new boots, just a quick tip for the best fit: we always recommend keeping the pastern strap nice and loose—enough to fit most of your hand underneath. You can then fold the extra strap length over and tuck it underneath the O-rings to keep it neat and secure!

The pad to end, ALL pads!
It sits my endurance saddle so well, no movement, no slip, nothing. The combination of the quick drying fabric and the merino wool means that it dries faster than my other wool pad and so I have only had to get one (sadly - but I'm sure I'll find a reason for another 😆 )
Also I'm all about the pink and black so that's a nice extra!

I love these boots! After years of other boots that wouldn't stay on at a trot these were awesome WTC and even a gallop up hill after my hanovarian big toddler got bucky into the canter.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit den Hufschuhen, Beratung zur Passform optimal. Schuhe passen gut und in allen Gangarten haben wir noch keinen Schuh verloren. Bei den Klettverschlüssen muss ich noch ein Stückchen abschneiden und umnähen, da die Enden mir zu lang sind aber ansonsten bin ich und mein Pferd rund um zufrieden... jetzt wird sich zeigen wie lange die Schuhe halten.

I got a brand new fresh pair for our 25 mile endurance ride. I adjusted them at ride camp and they never budged, and no rubs for the entire ride! Love when I can focus on our ride and not worry about our boots.

My horse likes them and the fit is good. These viper boots are easy to put on and take off. I switched the straps because foxtails were getting stuck in the Velcro.

As a quick reminder, please make sure the upper pastern strap stays nice and loose. You should easily be able to fit four fingers or most of your hand between the strap and your horse's pastern to prevent any rubbing and to allow the captivator to function properly.

We had a very good experience with the right boot, but for some reason the left one kept turning. On one 2-hour easy ride, we readjusted it 3 times … we would center it, but after a bit, it would slide off center to the left. They stayed on, though! We only do a walking ride because my horse’s pasterns are pretty shot at 28 years old.

Renegade Boots are fantastic! I put them to the test on our last ride in Vermont through water crossings, deep mud, steep climbs, slick downhill sections, and wet grass. They handled every obstacle without missing a beat and stayed securely in place the entire ride.
They're also incredibly easy to put on, which is a huge bonus when you're getting ready to hit the trails. And let's be honest...the glow-in-the-dark teal color is SUPER cool!
I've tried a lot of hoof boots over the years, and these performed better than any I've ever used. Tough, reliable, easy to use, and they look awesome too. I couldn't be happier with them!

My thoroughbred is thin soled and also over tracks and lives in a muddy climate a lot of the year so shoes are hard to keep on. We tried a different boot type that he kept pulling off (tried a couple different styles and sizes, he pulled them all) but these are incredible. He was instantly ready for work, not foot sore at all. And!!!!….. He can over track and not hit his heels or pull his shoes/boots in these! Best investment ever. The photos are him in his bitless bridle and renegade vipers at a show jumping competition last weekend.

When I first found Renegade I was skeptical because the reviews were mostly positive and it seemed to good to be true! I used their sizing team (so smooth, easy & perfectly accurate btw) sent in my pictures/measurements and received a very timely response, then promptly placed my order! Since they arrived: my mare hasn't been rode without them - arena, trail, wherever.. she is so much more comfortable wearing them!! She has always been sound but would be ouchy on random terrain (sometimes even just hard ground) not anymore! We are riding with confidence and it gives me peace of mind to know she's totally comfortable as well as not wearing & tearing her hooves especially when we want to get up and go.. The boots fit & function beautifully at a walk, trot, canter & full speed - I have put it to the test!! They are so easy to clean after rides all you need is water, a hose is truly the best & only tool needed (I have found that keeping a hoof pick handy when doing so, for those stubborn little stones makes it even easier & faster). They fit fantastic from day 1 of being trimmed til the next trim (8 wks) which I was also skeptical about, and literally have had no issues! I will absolutely be purchasing a pair for my gelding as well - 10/10 recommend these boots!!!

These boots have been a game changer, my gelding was having a hard time getting his feet used to harder ground and was so tender I was only able to ride in a sand arena. When I moved I had no access to a sand arena and was not able to ride. I started looking at boots and when i found renegade boots I just knew these were what I needed, they are affordable and durable. I have now ridden all thru my neighborhood, on the paved roads, on gravel roads, and we are able to do mare than just a short walk. The boots have given us the freedom to ride all over no matter what the ground is like. I have not had 1 boot come off while riding, they are secure and so easy to put on and take off. Love them and will be getting some in a different color too! Thank you for having such a great hoof boot!!

I absolutely love them!
Ever since I first saw Renegade hoof boots, I’ve wanted them, and now I finally could afford them. They fit perfectly on my horse, and he walks so well in them. Everyone at the barn envies them, which is nice, when it’s something you’ve always wanted. They’re so easy to put on, take off and clean. Very satisfied. I’ve got chronic pain, so it’s important that they’re easy to take on and off.. I look forward to every ride with them.

Used these boots many times now. They have always stayed on and never rubbed. They had great traction on the road. My mare even wore them in a parade and so many people loved them! One kid called them “horse crocs” which I thought was hilarious.

These boots are great have had fronts for a while now got hinds so we can go on rougher terrain. If anyone is worried their horse might be less confident in their movement wearing boots have a look at this movement!

The pink Renegades on Diesel’s fronts are the Mystery box ultra blems. And while I can see the imperfections up close, you can’t tell the difference at all in fit and performance. We are very happy with them and it was fun to find out what color I would get! If I don’t need a specific color, I will definitely be ordering these again! My girl Ari loves these boots. After tons of research, I chose these and so glad I did. It was perfectly timed since a couple of weeks later, the barn laid gravel on all of the roads. Took her shoes off to give her feet a rest and use these when riding and working. They stay on well and she eagerly stands when putting them on. Once on, she confidently approaches every surface. They stayed put even going through the creek. It was the right choice for us. They are sturdy and look great.
