Das Größenschema für die Viper™ verwendet das metrische System und entspricht gleichzeitig dem Industriestandard: zuerst die Länge, dann die Breite . Ein Stiefel, der 135 mm lang und 125 mm breit ist, hat also die Größe 135x125.

Mit einem wettkampferprobten, schwenkbaren Fersenkappen-Design, einem Kabelsystem nach Militärstandard und strapazierfähigen Riemen zeichnet sich der Viper™ Hufschuh durch ein elegantes Aussehen und helle Farben aus, während das ultra-robuste Polyurethan, aus dem der Viper™ gefertigt ist, zu einem ernsthaft zähen, langlebigen Schuh führt. Tiefe Profilrillen sorgen für länger anhaltenden Grip und zeugen vom künstlerischen Talent unseres Hufschuhdesigners Kirt Lander.
Das Design dieses Hufschuhs wurde mittels Finite-Elemente-Analyse verschlankt, was zu einem Hufschuh mit robusterem Profil führte, der etwa 15 % weniger wiegt als der Classic und mehr seitlichen Spielraum sowohl an der Hufschale als auch am Fersenkaptivator bietet. Ein tieferer Fersenkaptivator-„Gullet“ ermöglicht eine verbesserte Fesselknochenfreiheit. Die Innenseite des Hufschuhs ist texturiert und das Fersenkaptivator-Futter ist für mehr Stabilität im Einsatz verklebt. I LOVE my Renegade Viper Shield boots! They have been such a relief for my tender soled gelding, Sebastian. So far, they have been trail, road, gravel, AND spook approved (he rears and twists around when he spooks)! My ONLY reason for giving 4 stars instead of five is, when we rode on the beach, he threw both rear boots at a full gallop, and I had to literally put them back together when I got home (The cables came out of the pulley buttons, which is odd because I have never messed with them). Fortunately nothing was broken, and everything repaired fine, it was just disappointing that the rear boots could not handle a gallop down the beach. The front boots however, have never had any issue, and have been lovely!!
I think studded sneakers are a fabulous invention! So much traction for the snowy icy weather! Renegades are so easy to fit, thanks for coming through for me again!
Extremely happy with the performance of my renegades. No twisting, no falling off and most importantly, no rubbing my horse. Customer service has also been great, helpful and fast response times

My mare has sensitive hooves but with her Renegades, I can keep her in hoof boots and she happily goes down the trail on our 25 and 30 mile endurance rides. So far no rubbing, great fit, stay on, I'll test them this weekend for a long 50 mile endurance ride so well see if they stand up, so far on 8mile rides they have been great! Update to this review, I did a 50 miler endurance ride in SD. My horse had his new Viper front boots on, they were AMAZING! No rubbing, they staid on the whole time, they keep him happy and sound on the rocky trail. LOVE them!
I exchanged the emerald green 140x 135 for Arizona cooper 140 x 130 fronts And 135x 125 for hind feet at copper We are loving them. The fronts are perfect and the hinds are close to perfect. I probably would have ordered 135 x 130 but you didn’t have them. I think after one more trim I am going to be happy I have the 135 x 125 s She travels well with them and I like the easy on easy off process as I am 82 years old and my hands don’t work like they once did Thanks for all the help in getting the right size Judy Bishop

I like the viper with the classic captivator swap. The classic captivator is softer and less likely to rub my horses.

Great product and company. Ended up having to switch out the captivators to the original style but the combo of viper boots and original captivators is working well for my mare for trail riding.

Your original boots were very limited in size and there wasn't a size that fit my horse's front hooves. (The old 2ww fit his hinds.). The added more precise sizes are a big thumbs up. Also, the solid lip across the front is much better, the split on the original boots was always a weak point, and I tended to break it when I took the boots off. Still use the old 2ww on his back hooves and have to be careful when removing them

Terry Banister and I have little problem with our Renegade and Viper Boots. Terry uses Renegade "0's all the way around. Sometimes, 125/125 Vipers on the rears for hilly or muddy footing. I trim Ferrari and OT Rasa RSI all the way down to where the Hoof Wall is even with the Sole for Endurance Rides. On Rasa's fronts, I use Viper Toes (135 X135) as they fit her Hoofs better with Renegade Captivators. On Rasa's rears, I run (135 X 130) Vipers, as Viper Captivators do not flex as much as Renegade Captivators preventing the Hoof from torquing out of the back of the boot when riding out mud, especially up hill! After a competition day, we toss them in a bucket of water for a few minutes, then inspect them for any frayed cables, missing O rings, or worn straps. After a few hundred miles or treacherous/muddy terrain, we may have to replace a velcro strap or an O-ring. We never start a ride with compromised boot, and we always ride with two spares in boot bags behind the cantle. It only takes a minute to replace a boot, and we lose very little time. We ride the boots on until the Hoof toe wears thru front of boot then replace them and use them as spares or rocky rides around The Outlaw Trail. We do ride Barefoot for pleasure riding unless REALLY Rocky. AND Those Renegade/Vipers Sure Feel Mighty Fine on an Endurance Rides when U strike a fast trot down a Paved Road, Gravel Road, Hard Road or Rocky Terrain! Crockett Dumas & Terry Banister .

Dear People at Renegade Boots, I just wanted you to know how much my horse, Honey, loves her new boots. My husband and I and Honey live in the Texas Hill Country which, although beautiful, is full of rocks. There is only about 6-8 inches of ground soil that willingly gives way to the limestone underneath. When Honey and I would explore the trails here she would return exhausted and stressed from the rocks as she is a barefoot girl and the rocks and stones can’t all be avoided. I had to figure something out so my Farrier, Julie Saf, suggested these boots. She measured her hooves and I ordered. They were easy to get on and once Honey realized that they signalled a comfortable and fun ride she was a different horse on the trail. Now, she knows we are going out and lifts her feet in anticipation as I bring out her boots from the tack room. You have changed her world and made mine better.

I have spent a month road-testing four Renegade boots with my over-striding horse who was previously regularly stripping off his front boots from a mainstream brand. We have gone up hill, downhill, and through mud at extended paces and have had no problems whatsoever with the boots. Not even cantering tight turns in rough country, galloping flat out. The horse is super confident with his feet in rough terrain now. There is also little wear on the soles despite the frequent rocks and going endurance pace. Thanks for a great design. I would recommend these boots to anyone.
Big fan of your renegades, they really really worked out for my Paint/Rocky Mountain Cross. I had a bit of a glitch a year into using them and called your company for some support regarding fit and problem solving my issue and they were great and it was resolved. My farrier is also very impressed with them and she intends to order them for her mounts.

Wenn Sie beispielsweise 4 Stiefel kaufen, aber nur bei zweien die Fersenhalter austauschen oder nur an den vorderen Stiefeln Stollen anbringen möchten, geben Sie bitte ausreichend Details an, damit wir die Anpassungen an den richtigen Stiefeln vornehmen können!
Was ist, wenn ich mehr als einen Stiefel kaufen möchte?
Passen Sie einfach die Menge für jede gewünschte Größe/Modell des Stiefels an. Bitte teilen Sie uns im Anmerkungsfeld beim Bezahlvorgang mit, auf welchen Huf die Stiefel passen, damit wir den Klettverschluss für jeden Huf richtig anbringen können.
Beim Kauf eines Paars oder 4er-Sets gehen wir davon aus, dass diese für links und rechts gedacht sind und bringen den Klettverschluss als Paar bzw. Set an.
Wie lange halten Renegade-Hufschuhe?
Die Laufleistung hängt vom Gelände, der Geschwindigkeit und der Art und Weise ab, wie sich das Pferd bewegt. Im Durchschnitt kann man mit dem Classic-Modell 500-600 Meilen und mit den Vipers 600-800 Meilen rechnen.
Auf rauem Gelände oder bei Pferden, die mit den Zehen nachschleifen, halten die Hufschuhe wahrscheinlich weniger Kilometer.
