A quantity of 1 is a single boot, select 2 for a pair of boots. Each increment of 2 will be treated as a pair for initial strap setup (one left one right). If you order an odd number of hoof boots, please use the notes field at checkout to request how many of “Left” or “Right”.
Single boot sales allow owners of horses with mis-matched hoof sizes to buy individually, and for easy purchase of single replacements.

The sizes indicate the hoof boot sole dimensions. We recommend selecting a size that is about 5-10mm longer and wider than the hoof measurements after a proper Natural Style Trim. The sizing shows length first then width second.
Hoof boots Seconds are new, with normal integrity & Performance. They are discounted only due to minor cosmetic imperfections like scuffs, color variance, or minor surface air bubbles. These blemish hoof boots are subject to the standard warranty, exchange, and return policies. Color hues may vary slightly from those shown. No customizations are available.

ULTRA DURABLE HOOF BOOTS
The material used to make our Hoof Boots is an ultra durable polyurethane for a very long lasting boot, which is also designed to deliver even more hoof and joint protection than the horse would get barefoot without hoof boots.
Viper® Shield is the hardest wearing material - You can expect 600-800 miles out of Viper hoof boots in Standard Colors.
Viper® Vivid™ is an ultra durable polyurethane resulting in an extremely long lasting boot, while offering a very slightly softer material, and Viper® Glow material has slightly more give.

I have used Renegades for close to 10 yrs over 4 various horses. Its great that all parts are replaceable. I found these after trying 4 other brands before I found the Renegades. Having colors is great as each horse has different size feet. Saves a lot of confusion.

Took a bit of finagling to get it out back together, but a great way to save money if all that's gone is your tread! I'll only ever spend money on renegades for my barefoot crew. No other boots hold a candle to them.

I’ve used renegades for over 10 years. They are great! I love that I can just buy parts because my horse wears out the sole before anything else and it’s expensive and wasteful to buy the entire boot. I also love all of the colors- so fun. I like the thick tread vipers for our very rocky trails.

Unfortunately I can't use them because I didn't realize how corroded my cable clamp screws are and cannot remove them from my old boots. I thought they were stainless steel? Anyway, I should have looked first, my bad.

The service from the store to support was wonderful. I will admit that since I only bought the bottom part of the boot. It was a learning curve to mix it together with my heel cups and cables. However I got it done and my horse now is riding with fresh hole free shoes.
Takes a bit of time to put it together but once it's done, they work great. We go over rocks and up and down big hills. Give my Trotter great hoof protection on our trail rides.

We have been using your fine products for over 15 years now They wear extremely well in the rough trails in Arizona for us as well in the varied tough terrain in the mountains of British Columbia
Orders always arrive quickly. Parts for the hoof boots always work, and being able to repair the boots is a huge plus for us, as we typically ride about 1000 miles a year on rough trails in the Southwest region. Boots wear out under that work load, but repairs keep the going.

The blemished shells are great when you have ridden more than you realized and need a cheap way to keep the rest of the boot parts working. I can never find the blemishes, and my mare does not care either.

Can I add customizations?
Yes. Simply click on your desired options from above and add them to your cart. Be sure to add any information in the cart notes - for example if you buy 4 boots but want to swap heel captivators on only two, or add studs only on the front boots, please provide plenty of detail so we can make the customizations to the right boots!
What if I want to buy more than one boot?
Just adjust the quantity for each size / model boot you need. Please let us know in the notes field at checkout which hoof the boots will go on, so we can put the velcro on facing the right way for each hoof.
If you buy a pair or a set of 4 we will assume that these are going left and right and put the velcro on as a pair or a set.
How long will Renegade hoof boots last?
Mileage will depend on the terrain, speed, and how the horse moves. On average, it is expected to get 500-600 miles out of the Classic model, and 600-800 miles out of the Vipers.
Abrasive rough terrain, or horses who drag their toes will likely get fewer miles out of their boots.
