A quantity of 1 is a single boot, select 2 for a pair of boots. Each increment of 2 will be treated as a pair for initial strap setup (one left one right). If you order an odd number of hoof boots, please use the notes field at checkout to request how many of “Left” or “Right”.
Single boot sales allow owners of horses with mis-matched hoof sizes to buy individually, and for easy purchase of single replacements.

You can get Free Sizing on our Renegade® Sizing page. The sizes indicate the hoof boot sole dimensions, length first then width second. We recommend selecting a size that is about 5-10mm longer and wider than the hoof measurements after a proper Natural Style Trim.

Absolutely love these Boots! They hold up to the rugged PNW trails without any fault! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I have never lost a boot and have completed over 1000 miles!!!! My horse litterally puts his hoof out for them… he knows it’s adventure time! Mud, rocks, water, roots… they are truly the best in the horse business!
It is refreshing to have something reliable, traditional shoes with pads would fall off within a week or two and other types of boots were not secure enough to trot or lope. Renegade boots are a game changer; I can get in longer rides and trot and lope and have confidence of my horses footing.

We rode in the McDowell mt. Preserve and they gave her good footing on a variety of of gravel and flat boulders. In the arena she has no problem in all gates so I am very pleased.

My farrier trimmed my mare, helped me take pictures with the tape measure. I sent them to Renegade, and they were shipped by the time he had shoed our other horse! They fit perfect, no rubbing. I figured she would walk funny at first, nope! All was normal. I feel like they are very secure, and the chances of losing one are very low!

I moved to CO in May and my horses have been barefoot forever. It has been very difficult to put shoes on my horses so I tried your boots. They were perfect fit. I did end up biting the bullet and put shoes on all 4 hooves. I will continue to use the boots in between and hopefully not have to put shoes on again in Spring.

Renegade boots are fantastic! Work great on my Tennessee Walking Horse mare. She gaits wonderfully in them, they are comfortable, easy to clean and easy to put on.

I bought a pair of Renegade boots for my mare that has laminitis with slight rotation (founder). My farrier highly recommended Renegade. These are not the boots you go purchase at your local tack store. They are customized to your horse's hooves. Karen at Renegade made getting the correct measurements and ordering the boots a breeze. The pricing of these beautiful and sturdy boots was great. They were shipped fast. My mare was a little sore after a trim. I put her boots on her and she wore them for 3 days in her pen. When I took them off there were no rub marks anywhere. My vet okayed riding her. I have ridden her twice in her boots. She is a Tennessee Walker. Can I add customizations?
Yes. Simply click on your desired options from above and add them to your cart. Be sure to add any information in the cart notes - for example if you buy 4 boots but want to swap heel captivators on only two, or add studs only on the front boots, please provide plenty of detail so we can make the customizations to the right boots!
What if I want to buy more than one boot?
Just adjust the quantity for each size / model boot you need. Please let us know in the notes field at checkout which hoof the boots will go on, so we can put the velcro on facing the right way for each hoof.
If you buy a pair or a set of 4 we will assume that these are going left and right and put the velcro on as a pair or a set.
How long will Renegade hoof boots last?
Mileage will depend on the terrain, speed, and how the horse moves. On average, it is expected to get 500-600 miles out of the Classic model, and 600-800 miles out of the Vipers.
Abrasive rough terrain, or horses who drag their toes will likely get fewer miles out of their boots.
