Single boot sales allow owners of horses with mis-matched hoof sizes to buy individually, and for easy purchase of single replacements.
You can get Free Sizing on our Renegade® Sizing page. The sizes indicate the hoof boot sole dimensions, length first then width second. We recommend selecting a size that is about 5-10mm longer and wider than the hoof measurements after a proper Natural Style Trim.

These boots are a life saver! My gelding pulls front shoes like it’s his job. These made trail riding so much better. They only came off a few times in deep deep mud, which is understandable. But they were easy to find and put back on. So much better than loosing a shoe and not being able to ride. I will use these on my horses forever. They are great!
I love Renegade boots but my one Peruvian horse can't use them as her hooves are probably a size or 2 too small. Peruvian horses typically have small hooves and generally go barefoot so hoof boots would be great for them on trails

Love the Renegade boots! Saving money by discontinuing shoes and less thrush.
We have been tested a lot of hoof boots and using hoof boots almost every dag on our two horses. Renegade are the boots that we love most. The first thing we love about them is that they are very easy to but on and take off. We also love the comfort for the horse and they are really easy to clean. We use them for trail riding and they have never fall of.

I have used classics and vipers on my horse for over 10 years. He now loans his old boots to horses to try and to horses who have abscesses or pulled shoes to protect their feet while they heal or wait for the farrier. My young horse has tiny feet and has also loaned his old boots to others in need. I have tried others but I keep coming back because these are the easiest to put on, last the longest and give the most protection on the rocky trails. Thank you Renegade!

I've been using Renegade boots for 12 years. I've ridden trails, endurance, and some arena work. They are sturdy, reliable, and easy to apply. My TWH's tend to run through the toes fairly quickly, but the boots maintain their integrity and continue to be useful for training. I highly recommend these boots!

I bought this pair of boots for my horse's hind feet. I already had a pair for his fronts. I live in Wisconsin so I couldn't try them on trail until next Spring. I did walk him around the yard and they seem fine.

I've been using Renegades for almost ten years. My New England mountain trails are incredibly rocky, steep, and often muddy. Renegades keep my horse's feet unbruised and trouble free. I like the Classics for her rear hooves as they seem to fit a more oval shape; Vipers go on the fronts.
Got these boots for a particularly rocky trail my horse struggles with and one of my friends love. Got the chance to ride it recently and there was no problem. I'm thinking my horse loved the boots more than I did! So glad I got these boots!

First, I love your boots. I use them for trail riding with my barefoot quarterhorse. They are so easy and convenient. I haven’t put the hard miles on that endurance riders do, but we do encounter a lot of mud, tree roots, rocks and steep trails with blow-down trees to step over.

Can I add customizations?
Yes. Simply click on your desired options from above and add them to your cart. Be sure to add any information in the cart notes - for example if you buy 4 boots but want to swap heel captivators on only two, or add studs only on the front boots, please provide plenty of detail so we can make the customizations to the right boots!
What if I want to buy more than one boot?
Just adjust the quantity for each size / model boot you need. Please let us know in the notes field at checkout which hoof the boots will go on, so we can put the velcro on facing the right way for each hoof.
If you buy a pair or a set of 4 we will assume that these are going left and right and put the velcro on as a pair or a set.
How long will Renegade hoof boots last?
Mileage will depend on the terrain, speed, and how the horse moves. On average, it is expected to get 500-600 miles out of the Classic model, and 600-800 miles out of the Vipers.
Abrasive rough terrain, or horses who drag their toes will likely get fewer miles out of their boots.
